Because glass plates are heavy, the balustrade profile must be very strong while preferably being lightweight. That’s why UNIQ balustrade profiles are hollow. Unlike most common balustrade profiles, UNIQ does not use wedges and rubbers. The clever, patented UNIQ clamping strip secures the glass over the entire width so that it can’t come loose. The system is certified by BSI, ABP and CSTB.
